Kings Garden Cafe St Lukes in Auckland

"The cafe was recently renovated and reopened under new ownership from 24/02/25. The transformation/improvement is super impressive. Preet and the team make a MEAN coffee, and I've had the benedict at every cafe I've been to and this one is way up there as one of the best. Perfect eggs, so much flavour, lovely people, beautiful space, fantastic."

"Stumbled upon this cafe while visiting plant barn and really wasn't expecting much. I ordered the big breakfast and this would have to be one of the best I have had, perfect poached eggs, and I couldn't fault anything. Even considering it wasn't too busy at the time, coffee and Food was delivered within 5min. This cafe definitely deserves more than a 4.0 star average (at time of posting)"

"Nice brunch at the Kings Plant Barn Cafe, coffee was good and the staff were great at customising meals to fit us. We had fish and chips (the fish serving size was a bit small but they were fresh and delicious), toasted sandwiches were great, I had the omelette with mozzarella, onions and chicken and it was delicious"

"First visit... Beautiful environment and peaceful ambience. Friendly, efficient and helpful service, too :) The Chicken & Bacon Burger was incredible and the Brioche French Toast was superb! Plus, the Hot Chocolates... amazing. Everything in large quantities and delicious - easily worth the money! Plus, gotta appreciate any eatery that's got heaps of tissues on the table as opposed to just one. The restrooms were of high hygiene & cleanliness standards. All in all, it's easily the best cafe in the Mt Albert/St Lukes area! And, I'm surprised I had to dig to find this place online... they should market the hell out of it!"

"Went for lunch with some friends. Was a very cold & rainy day so we preferred to sit inside. But had a booking for outside. There was plenty of space inside to put a larger table together but the girl was very rude about sorting for us & made faces like we were to much trouble. What has happened to customer service. On the up side the lady we ordered from was lovely & the other staff very nice. The food was delicious & didn't take long to come out. It is sad that one person almost ruined our experience with this cafe which we have been going to for awhile. It is under new management. I am kind if surprised that the manager didn't not come to help out."
